On 24th February, the Transforming Education in Norfolk Group in conjunction with Beanstalk launched the Get Norfolk Reading campaign to spread a love of reading and access to resources for literacy amongst primary school children.
The Beanstalk charity links trained volunteer readers with schools and other community spaces where they can help children learn to read. The Eastern Daily Press ran a great article about the importance of reading in Norfolk, which has wide-spread literacy issues.
