Did you check out the Freshers Fair? While we were handing out free books (and free sweets!) we asked students to answer a few simple questions to help us improve our library services. One of those questions was “What’s your favourite book?” We discuss some of your answers below:
The Information Store team will be at the Freshers Fair on 18th and 19th September- this year, our theme is FRESH! Summer isn’t over till it’s too cold to read outside!
The Information Store isn’t just about borrowing books and DVDs – we also have a lively Book Exchange, where people donate books and we give them away for free. It’s a great place to drop off books when you clear your shelves, and they’ll find a home with someone else!
Friday February 14th is International Book Giving Day, and to help celebrate the event we are launching the “Book Exchange” at Norfolk House. Please bring in any unloved fiction books (to either the Information Store or the Library at Norfolk House) and we will help find it a new owner.
Book Exchange has been going from strength to strength, to the extent that we are now running low on books.If you have any spare fiction paperbacks at home, please bring them in so that we can include them in the Book Exchange.
